GREEN TRACK
Łeba - Rąbka - Łącka Peak - beach - Łeba
ca. 20 km

Excellent proposal for everyone. This not strenuous and rather undemanding trail offers unique landscape and views to admire. The expedition starts in Łeba nearby the Railway Station. You go west across railway crossing, bridge and straight to the crossroad. Turning right you get to the beach. However, after choosing the left turn you are only 1 km away from the entrance gate of the Słowiński National Park. Taking a walk in the Park one can admire unique spices of animals and plants. Then, after 2,5 km, you reach Rąbki – fishing town. If you would like to minimise the effort, you can reach Rąbki by bus from the Łeba centre. However, we encourage you to go for a stroll.

The post-German paved road takes you straight to the big attraction i.e. the old rocket launcher and the watch tower. For a quid you may feel the atmosphere of the World War II. And, 3,5 km away there are picturesque moving sand dunes. Climbing the highest dune called Łącka Peak (40 m MASL) is quite tedious, but worth your effort. Standing on its peak you can feed your eyes with the exceptionally beautiful view of Łebsko Lake from the one side, the Baltic Sea from the other, and desert-like sand dunes in the middle.

Down the sand dunes you get to the beach and straight to Łeba taking you time to admire magnificent wild beaches and/or sunbathe.

YELLOW TRACK
Łeba - Żarnowska - Gać - Ozbica - Kluki - Smołdziński Forest - Smołdzino - Gardna Wielka
ca. 38 km.

Long-distance trail of small difficulty level with a lot of beauty spots.

Starting from the Railway Station go in the direction of the gas station located on the edge of the town. Making your way towards Lębork you encounter crossroad after 4-km walk across rather unattractive path. Turn left and reach Żarnowska, small village at Łebsko Lake, after 2-km walk. Then, go in the direction of the Park and turn right according to the trail sign. Enjoy the 6-km stroll while observing exciting natural wonders.

Crossing the forest you get to Gać with unique hatching areas of water birds. Next, you pass Izbica, Lisia Góra and Kluki; the last one offers the Museum of the Slovincian Villages where old cottages and farm-houses are vibrant with life during various folklore festivals. Next, you go through Łokciowe and Smołdzino, cross the Łupawa River and reach Rowokół Hill (115 m), the Saint Mountain of Slovincians’ pagan cult. Later, the mountain served as the “lighthouse” – fire was lit at its peak to direct sailors to the port. Today it is a watch tower offering marvellous views. Then crossing meadows and fields you get to Gardna Wielka, the end of the yellow tourist trail.

RED TRACK
Łeba - Rąbka - Łącka Góra - Czołpino - Dołgie Wielkie and Małe lakes - Rowy
ca. 40 km.

Long-distance and hard trail due to the onerous area and the lack of accommodation. Recommended for skilled tourists experienced in similar challenges

Hiking starts in Łeba, in the same point as the green trail – both trails reach moving sand dunes and the Łęcka Mountain and the split. However, you do not go back to Łeba there, but go in the opposite direction to Czołpin. On your way you can admire colourful stones, mussels and various remaining of plants and animals cast up on the shore. Through the fold of sand dunes following the signs on the beach you get to Czołpin, the location of the lighthouse. In the summer season it is opened for visitors. Then, you go in the direction of picturesque lakes: Dołgie Wielkie and Dołgie Małe. Forest path takes you to the Gardno Lake shore and Rowy, the holiday resort, where the trail ends.
